I will not purchase another HP product
Not News: I spend over $1500 for a new HP laptop computer. News: The laptop starts to develop strange vertical lines on the LCD display. More lines appear as time passes. Reality: Thousands of people are experiencing the same type of problems – http://hpverticalline.com/

Dan McKinley : I did. The result was that the external monitor displays correctly. It displays just fine. From BIOS to Windows boot to desktop, no vertical lines.

Santino : Due to few technical difficulties at our end, I was unable to interact. I am sorry for the delay.
Santino : However, as it is an hardware issue the cost may exeed more than$398.
Dan McKinley : With the growing mass of users that are experiencing the same type of problems with HP laptops, I’m reluctant to purchase any HP products in the future. $398 or more to repair a $1500 machine that is only 3 years old does not strike a positive chord with me.
Santino : I Understand your concern, as your Notebook warranty is not coverd under warranty, HP cost you$398.
